Make Cornholme's Streets Safer

Matt Doyle the Liberal Democrat campaigner in Todmorden has been working hard to push to make roads safer in Cornholme for the local community.

Matt Doyle said "The Park, located on Hirst Street, Cornholme, is just off Burnley Road (A646) which is currently experiencing dangerous levels of speeding. The area does not have any safe areas for children and families to cross the road. This creates an immediate risk to people and the potential to cause harm. Children's Playing areas and access to them should be as safe as possible.

This is why we are calling on Calderdale Council to improve access to community resources and support Cornholme
in the process of making roads safer for all residents in the community"

"We the undersigned believe Calderdale Council should do more to reduce the speeding in Cornholme and introduce crossing points and traffic-calming effects to make it safer for our children and families"
